egg shells are perfect for many types of arts & crafts such as: etching,
carving, painting, decoupage, fabrigie decorating, etc... Emu eggs have three main
layers: the inner most layer is white , the middle layer is teal green, and the
outer layer is a deep green textured coating. This is one feature that
distinguishes Emu Eggs from all others, making each one unique and genuinely
beautiful. We drill just one 1/4"-1/3" hole in the large end of the shell, this
allows the shell to be displayed in a variety of ways.
