Active Ingredient: The FDA has approved menthol as a topical pain analgesic. Menthol crystals are distilled from the oil of the Peppermint and other members of the mint family. Arnica Herb - commonly called leopard's bane. Arnica works by stimulating the activity of white blood cells that perform much of the digestion of congested blood, and by dispersing trapped, disorganized fluids from bumped and bruised tissue, joints and muscles. This homeopathic medicine has been used for hundreds of years to reduce inflammation and decrease pain.
Capsicum - genus of plants which produce fruit known as chili peppers. Seeds from the chili peppers contain a compound called Capsaicin which causes a warming sensation. Capsaicin works by depleting your nerve cells of a chemical called substance P, which is important for sending pain messages from trauma, arthritis and muscle or cartilage problems to your brain. Reduce substance P and reduce the pain signal.
Marigold Extract - contains a number of bioactive steroid-like compounds which have anti-inflammatory properties. A recent report indicated that pro-inflammatory mediators were inhibited by these compounds. The report further went on to report that these were attractive molecules to study as a potential anti-arthritic agent.
MSM (methyl-sulfonyl-methane) - an organic and naturally occurring form of sulfur. It is an essential mineral meaning one which your body cannot produce and must be brought in through diet. MSM plays an important role in tissue structure and cell permeability allowing oxygen into the cell and toxins out.
Willow Bark - contains salicylic acid which lowers the body's levels of prostaglandins, hormone like compounds that can cause aches, pain, and inflammation.
Witch Hazel Extract - long used by Native Americans to relieve swelling and pain. Recent studies indicated that compounds isolated from witch hazel inhibited inflammatory mediators. When these "mediator compounds" were quelled, so was inflammation.
Directions: DuoFlex Topical Cream is for external use only. Recommended use is at least twice a day to start. First thing in the morning to warm muscles and tissue and increase mobility, last thing before bed to reduce pain and insure a good night sleep. You may apply additionally during the day as needed but not to exceed 4 times daily or skin irritation may result. While some ingredients work toward fast pain relief; other ingredients and the emu oil itself work toward longer lasting relief of inflammation. These results will build over repeated use and you will find yourself able to cut back in time. But remember your goal is to "Break the Pain Cycle". Use this product enough to do so. In time you may only need to use the cream when you overwork yourself.
For severe pain - best results granted when DuoFlex is applied lightly once to open skin pores and reapplied 10 minutes later. If you are applying DuoFlex to your hands for pain relief keep your hands away from your eyes and open wounds for 5 - 10 minutes by which time it will be fully absorbed. If you are applying DuoFlex to other parts of your body it is recommended that you wash your hands with cool water after applying to prevent accidentally rubbing your eyes.
Children under 12 years of age - ask a doctor. Warnings: Do not use on wounded, damaged or irritated skin. When using this product avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not bandage tightly and do not use with electric heating pad. Stop use and ask doctor if you experience a rash and/or a reaction, condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clears up and occurs again within a few days.

Have been using Emu products purchased from Songline for over three years. Initially I got the pure Emu oil for tendonitis and elbow joint pain, both subsided in about 6 mos, applying morning and night. I have since used same for burns and surgical scars from skin cancer. I have worked for a tire company for over 25 years as a tire builder, which is an extremely physical job. The last few years it has become even more demanding since our company changed to what is called the 2-2-3 type shift work. The days I work are all 12 hours long.
