Emu Oil Brown Sugar Scrub
The secret to young looking skin is exfoliation. It doesn't matter how much moisturizer you apply to your skin, if your skin is not exfoliating (definition - to cast off or remove the surface) properly, it will continue to look dull and dry. Remember that your top layer of skin is essentially dead skin cells. Your skin continually creates new cells underneath while surface cells slough off; but as we age this process (like so many others) slows down. The result is dry skin cell buildup which covers your skin's natural glow and can acerbate other skin conditions.
Exfoliate and deeply moisturize your face and body with our Emu Oil based Brown Sugar Scrub. You can get the Essential Oil scent of your choice - invigorating Pink Grapefruit or soothing Lavender. This scrub removes the top layer of dead skin cells, increases circulation and rejuvenates your skin as the emu, olive and vitamin E oils penetrate deeply leaving your skin smooth, supple, refreshed and glowing.
The secret most people don't understand is exfoliation.
- Dry Skin - moisturizes can't rehydrate through this barrier
- Acne - oils and sebum become trapped underneath clogging pores resulting in breakouts
- Hyperpigmentation - brown spots aren't able to break down and fade naturally
To achieve healthy, glowing skin you need to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new replacement cells. Additionally, scrubbing with salt also helps to remove bacteria from the skin and unclog pores. When applied to the skin, salt kills bacteria and reduces inflammation along with any itching and pain associated with bacterial-related skin disease. Many people report significant improvements with eczema and psoriasis.
All Natural Ingredients:

How to Exfoliate with Songline Scrubs
Start your exfoliation with clean skin; our Emu Oil and Goat Milk soap is a wonderful mild cleanser. Shake or stir the scrub to an even consistency.
Wet the skin with warm water and apply a small amount of scrub. Rub gently in circles with your fingers or a facial sponge, avoiding the delicate under eye area. Use more scrub only as needed.
Rinse with warm water followed by cold, to close your pores, and then lightly pat your skin dry.
There is no need to apply a moisturizer as the emu oil will already have begun to penetrate, hydrate and soften skin while it delivers its bio-nutrients, collagen and elastins to underlying layers to assist with new cell generation.
This should be repeated once or twice a week, but no more than that. These scrubs are also great in the shower for your arms and legs and again - no need to moisturize after rinsing.
