What is the Active Pain Relief Ingredient?
The FDA has approved menthol as a topical pain analgesic. Menthol (5%) are crystals distilled from the oil of peppermint and other members of the mint family. When applied to an affected area, menthol rapidly creates a cooling sensation in the skin, tendons, and muscles, overriding and replacing the pain message your nerves were carrying to your brain. While this initially masks the pain - Menthol also causes dilation in the blood vessels that carry blood to the area, increasing blood flow and reducing swelling. As more blood reaches an injured area, it brings nutrients and oxygen, takes toxins, and wastes away, speeding the healing process.

What are the Key Ingredients?
Hemp Isolate: is a crystalline powder that contains the pure concentrated anti-inflammatory properties of hemp and is THC Free.
Hempseed Oil: contains all of the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary for human life and possesses potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Arnica Oil: is pressed from a plant commonly called leopard's bane. This homeopathic medicine has been used for hundreds of years to reduce inflammation and decrease pain. Arnica works by stimulating the activity of white blood cells that perform much of the digestion of congested blood and by dispersing trapped, disorganized fluids from bumped and bruised tissue, joints, and muscles.
Witch Hazel Extract: contains chemicals called tannin, which help reduce swelling, help repair broken skin, and fight bacteria.
Cayenne Extract: contains a compound called capsicum which causes a warming sensation. It works by depleting your nerve cells of a chemical called substance P, which is essential for sending pain messages from trauma, arthritis, and muscle or cartilage problems to your brain. Reduce substance P and reduce the pain signal.
Marigold Flower Extract: contains several bioactive steroid-like compounds with anti-inflammatory properties. A recent report indicated that these compounds inhibited pro-inflammatory mediators. The information further reported that these were attractive molecules to study as potential anti-arthritic agents.
Peppermint Oil: pressed from a hybrid species of spearmint and water mint (Mentha aquatica). It has cooling, invigorating and antispasmodic properties to help with muscle cramps. Studies have also shown that peppermint oil applied topically has pain relief benefits associated with fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome.
Feverfew Extract: reduces pain and inflammation throughout the entire body. It does this by preventing the release of inflammatory substances that initiate and lengthen inflammation inside body tissue.
Nettle Extract: reduces inflammation, aches, and pains of osteoarthritis. A German study shows that hox alpha, an extract of stinging nettle leaf, contains an anti-inflammatory substance that suppresses several cytokines in inflammatory joint diseases.

While all of the critical ingredients above work to relieve pain and inflammation, the following naturally derived ingredients help to make the product appeal to your senses of smell and feel while keeping it stable and free of microbes. We searched for natural and safe alternatives to No Carbomer-940, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Propylparaben, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sorbitol, or Triethanolamine.

Emulsifying Wax NF: we use Polawax, an optimized combination of vegetable-derived emulsifiers and stabilizers conforming to the National Formulary (USA) and recognized as safe by regulatory authorities worldwide.
Vegitable Glycerin: a naturally occurring fatty alcohol compound that increases the glide and slide of the cream.
Leucidal Complete: a mixture of antimicrobial peptides derived from the lactic acid bacteria, Leuconostoc kimchi, one of the microorganisms that make up Korean fermented cabbage and from fermenting Cocos nucifera (Coconut Oil) with Lactobacillus. This combination provides broad-spectrum activity to protect the products against bacteria, yeast, and mold.
Xanthan Gum: is used as a natural thickening agent to help produce a light cream.
Organic Sweet Orange Oil: essential oil is a natural fragrance that stimulates cheerfulness while simultaneously calming, making it an ideal mood enhancer and relaxant.
Organic Pink Grapefruit Oil: this is a bright, uplifting essential oil used for its fragrance. We especially like the blend of citruses and peppermint, which makes your DuoFlex application an uplifting cool treat.
Dermofeel PA-12: a complex salt compound that acts as a natural chelating agent (which helps to bind metals in the water), keeping the product more stable. This material is fully neutralized and has a pH of ~12.

Directions: DuoFlex with Hemp Isolate - All Natural Topical Cream is for external use only. Recommended use is at least twice a day to start. First thing in the morning to warm muscles and tissue and increase mobility. Last thing before bed to reduce pain and ensure a good night's sleep.
You may apply additionally during the day as needed but not to exceed four times daily, or skin irritation may result. While some ingredients work toward fast pain relief, other ingredients and the emu oil itself work toward longer-lasting relief of inflammation. These results will build over repeated use, and you will be able to cut back in time.
But remember, your goal is to Break the Pain Cycle. Use this product enough to do so. You may only need to use the cream when you overwork yourself, or you may need to apply it several times a day to reduce inflammation, not just cover the pain. Additionally, if you are in severe pain, apply lightly once to open skin pores and reapply 10 minutes later to penetrate deep tissue.

Warnings: Do not use on wounded, damaged, or irritated skin. When using this product, avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not bandage tightly, and do not use an electric heating pad.
